to see silence on that ultrasound machine.
No movement, no flutters of the heart. No happy pictures to take home with you.
Nothing prepares you for having to tell your children, to call your best friend, to call your mom, grandparents...
Now I feel guilty for ever having an negative thought. How am I going to handle 3 kids?! What is it like? Sleeping arrangements, car arrangements? So much to think about! ...Well I guess I'll never know now...
I was so sure I would never have a miscarriage. It couldn't happen to me.
This surely has put me in my place. Made me truly realize how precious a life is.

So now I'm 10.2 weeks pregnant with a dead baby in my womb.
Just waiting to hear back from the hospital about my d&c.

I think I'm done with babies. I never want this to happen again.

It's not causing drama, and I understand that you meant well, but "everything happens for a reason" isn't the best thing to say to someone in a situation like this.
