I think that drugs are worse, however I think that junk food is killing us faster.

Which is, generally, quite possible with a hard drug like heroin.

Lol you are very detail oriented! How about a heroin user of 15 years, they pretty much will die if they don't take the drug. He's 35.

And the obese guy, say he's been overweight his whole life, and the last 5 years has been over 300 lbs. He's also 35. Has high cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, all that shebang.

Haha, I just like playing devil's advocate.

Hell, if all of a sudden that person stopped eating the way they were used to, they could have the same effect as a heroin withdrawal (depending on how long that'd been going on and what their body was used to).

I still say they have about the same shot. They're both heading downtown very quickly, unless they get lucky. The user is still going to be taking drugs, and could OD, or her/his body could go into major withdrawals and (s)he could die. The eater, pretty much the same. Or could just up and have a heart attack.

Pretty much-- they're both fucked unless they find a healthy way to get off the drugs/eat better.

LOL

Oh, and just for shits and giggles...

Someone who's 35, perfectly healthy, works out every day, never had a drink or done a drug in his or her life could also drop dead before either the junkie or the overeater.

Goddamn I'm a barrel of laughs today.

You could say drug abuse is acute, while obesity is a chronic condition. Both deadly in their own way.

drug addicts are like cats... someone can od multiple times... but they may have warning signs,
But just 1 heart attack, could be *curtains*
And no warning signs
