I want to get a tattoo on my birthday 2 weeks from yesterday. I will have my baby already and I want to get it with his foot print and his name and birthdate. Where should I get it??? I have a in memory tat on my left shoulder and I wanted something creative, also I want to add something to the one I want but I don't know what to add...any ideas. This is my birthday present, the only thing I want for my birthday besides a cookie cake lol. Do any of you have any ideas of a baby tat idea??

Well my hubby has the footprint tat on his shoulder (best place for footprints) and I have something more creative. My son was born in June 2011... which to me is the year of the rabbit and month of honeysuckles and roses, so I got a sleeping baby bunny surrounded my roses and honeysuckles. With this next child she will be born March 2013... year of the snake and month of daffodils, but her tat will be different due to the fact that I don't want a snake tattoo. So instead I'll be getting an anklet of daffodils with the kanji symbol for snake right below my sleeping bunny.

Don't mind at all... just make yours one of a kind.

Definitely I mean I don't know if I would do the flowers or something like that but I do love the snake idea and I might get it under my other one and make it go around my side or something with his date and something else :)!!

Why not have the date in the snake's pattern? That way you know it's there, can tell people about it, and they'll have to look closely at the tattoo (appreciate it more).

Oh wow that is actually an awesome idea!!!! I know it may cost a little more but if I am paying money for something amazing I'd rather get something that is worth it! Now I just have to pick the exact spot maybe beside that one and make it go up towards my neck or something like that.

Snakes are best done on "firm curves"... ankles, shoulders, wrists, rib cage, etc. The hips are a tad tricky but some can pull it off.

I believe I figured it out!! I am going to get it done on my shoulder and have his feet prints and then have the tail wrap around one foot and then go up all the way around to my and have his name and bday inside of the snake as the pattern I guess you'd say. I have it pictured up in my mind now :)
