Quoting Brink:" <blockquote><b>Quoting Ginger Bear:</b>" I had replied to another girl that made the ... [snip!] ... for your baby. "</blockquote> I don't buy that you're highly educated. Your judgemental attitude shows otherwise."

Judgmental I may be. But only because I have done the research. I have seen the results. Being educated doesn't mean that you condone both sides of the story and linger in the middle. It means that you have done the studying, and you weighed the facts. The ones that want to fight that are the ones that don't want to see the light. They don't want an opinion because that means you would have to stand up for what you are saying, and it's easier to say "whatever you want to do is fine, it's your life". God forbid you step on anyone's toes...right? No one likes a fence rider.

There are alternatives to everything. It just takes some time and brain power to find them. :)

To everyone that is getting their panties in a bundle about my original statement. Doing drugs that can endanger your baby should not be the first choice you take. Just because a doctor jumps up and says "here take this", it is up to you as the adult to make sure that the doctor is correct. After all, he/she is only human and has gone to school to cram medications down your throat. They do not look at the natural options. They were not taught to. So it is our loving responsibility as a parent to do the research before we take a step forward. And just because something is legal does not make it the correct course of action. We need to stop being lemmings. Be a leader, not a follower. Don't jump on the band wagon and follow the crowd. Be an educated thinker. Willing to stand up and change the world for the better. Not by living by the rule of "what ever feels good do it" or "he's doing it, I guess I should to". And like I stated before, there are going to be those instances that we can't help but take medications. But then if that is the last resort, you can sit back and be content that you did what you could to find out that it was the only thing that you could do. So become educated thinkers. Take the time, put forth the effort to find out for yourself, make decisions for yourself, and be healthy, and think of your baby FIRST.

Read that for starters. And little piece of advice, don't expect others to do the research for you. You obviously have a computer right in front of you. Use it.

I want to read your f**king paper? Why are you ignoring that question. Maybe because it doesn't exist. You are assuming a shit ton about a lot of people.

Oh ffs. When it comes to a mother with severe HG, marijuana use will ALWAYS be safer than the prescription medicines. And don't feed me the FDA approval bullshit either. If marijuana was being marketed through a pharmaceutical company they'd make money off of, they'd be all over that shit.

...... Reconsidered? That word doesn't belong here in any way, shape, or form.... Are you saying that being 7 months pregnant rendered you a whale, maybe?

I just gave birth and they don't drug test you unless something is going wrong with your delivery but that could happen very easily. it happened to me so thank god I didn't smoke. I quit when I was 35 weeks pregnant and the baby stopped moving and her heartbeat increased which means she was stressed in my body. I went to my doctor at my 38 week check up and that's when they found out she was stressed and he sent me to the hospital at 10am and while I was there they did another vaginal exam and a few minutes later my mucus plug fell out and they did a c section and she was born at 1:19pm. but when they trying to figure out why she was stressed they drug tested me just to see if I haqd done anything and to see if she was coming off of any drugs of I did test positive (which I didn't) but you also have to remember that you could go into labor early. I did 2 weeks early. so I wouldn't reccomed it.
