Yeah but you don't get the bumber, skirt and the blanket is actually useable later. The crib set we first got the blanket was mostly for show the toddler set me got from Circo brand ( targets brand) was amazing. My kid is 3 now but uses it for a snuggle blanket on the couch.

I didn't use anything but a crib sheet and a mesh bumper with DD. She didn't even start using a blanket until like 21 mo

I really wanted a crib bedding set but didn't want to pay $170 for four pieces. I found a really cute 13 piece set from Overstock.com for $100 - it's not necessary but it is adorable (and helps tie everything together). :)
