People should be able to sell what they want, in bad taste or not.

Freedom. Gotta love it.

Quoting Mommy|Of2:" I don't get the point in the "keep calm" merchandise."

It was a powerful message to send to the citizens of a country having been recently invaded. They weren't invaded, but the poster was kept in reserve just in case.

What was the message? "Your country was just invaded but keep calm cuz we made shirts?"

I think it can be comforting. The British are classically known for valuing calm demeanor in times of crises. They didn't make shirts, just posters.

It helps to have an understanding of British culture to appreciate it I suppose.

A real rapist would not wear a shirt that shows it off, so while I think they are in bad taste, I don't think they are harmful.

LOL I don't think rapists ask to be raped.. But I'm saying that if a girl were to wear it, the defense could use consent as a motive because she wore a shirt saying to do it.

Britain was never invaded. many posters were printed during the war to morale and encourage citizens, such as many to grow your veg and encouraging women join the work force. it s important to keep morale up when your citiesare being bombed and your children have been evacuated to the countryside.

You know that shirt is geared towards college boys. I can just picture some drunk 22 year old frat boy wearing that to a party and using it as his pick-up line for chicks.

People seriously take shit too seriously.

I'm pretty sure it was self-published to Amazon. For the most part, anyone can self-publish just about anything on Amazon.

The shirts are in bad taste, IMO, but I support Amamzon's right to sell whatever they want.
