Quoting Just Ames:" Nope. He just doesn't gain that rapidly but he doesn't lose. He's like 38 lbs right now."

Ok, that's where my guys are about 39-40 lbs

When I asked the pedi about Luke not eating he said as long as he was not losing weight it would be ok and he would "balance out"
Idk how true this is, but the kid does not look like he has missed a meal

A is turning 6 this year & she's barely 40lbs. Maybe not even. She's tall too...

I think he'll be alright and you're a good mom and teach him that eating will help him grow big & strong. Right now, it's a phase and you just have to get him through it the best you cna

Oh honey I'm so there! Same with Ty, but no corn dogs. The child won't touch a hot dog, no mac and cheese, tons of stuff most kids love. Chicken nuggets, fries, pizza and PBJ.

bwhaha, that's what I've come to realize that it's all a bunch of different phases you just have to get through. Some harder than others. Well, for the most part. I know so many parents are troubled with things that will never go away and things that aren't phases at all. It's just easier to say that this is another challenge you will have to figure out how to overcome if you can. Now, I'm rambling LOL. I just know the way you feel as a mom and your child not eating as they should or you think. A would go days with nothing but milk if I let her. It drove me insane.

Yes! Like I feel so sad that he is hungry and not eating for other reasons :( It's such a helpless feeling. And you're right...this is a challenge we'll overcome. Hopefully one day, lol. He's been this way all of his life apart from when he was a baby.

There are some nights Tyler eats a cheese stick and a pack of fruit snacks. or nothing at all. Eating anything substantial is a win at our house at dinner time. I'm praying AJ isn't so picky!
