I am wanting to get something to wear my LO for when I walk the dog. It is a necessity at this point because I try to walk him with us and I have to let go of his hand when I am cleaning up the dog shit and he runs off to wherever so I am trying to hurry and get this dog shit cleaned up while my child is running off one way and my dog is trying to pull me another way.. Maybe I should just get my child a leash too?... Lol.
Any thoughts on this topic?

Stroller or woven wrap.

I have no shame in saying I have a monkey backpack with a leash that my son actually likes to wear. (will be 4 in June) When it comes to my son's safety fashion is second.

I was going to say get a kid leash or one of those little ride on things that the parents push. Or even a stroller.

I use a woven wrap with my 16 month old and 2.5 yr old! Go look at my recent topic 'first time wrapping' :)

You could do a mei tai since its easy and fast up and down. That way he can still walk sometimes.

I tried a stroller. The ground is very uneven and has lots of random dips so it doesn't work well. Where would I get a woven wrap?

My son (almost 2) likes riding in my Boba 3G. I've heard good things about the scootababy PP mentioned, but I wouldn't be able to handle a hip carry for a whole walk and that's the only position it does. The Beco Butterfly is a good one too, if you're thinking soft structured carrier. I want a Manduca (some obscure German product).

I got mine from Marsupial-mamas.com
But you have to figure out what size you would need:

I would start with a 5,6, or 7 depending on you and your LOs size.

I have one but have never used it because I have just never needed to because he is usually good about holding my hand and staying next to me if I let go. He has recently been doing this so I just don't need him snatched up because I am picking up dog shit.

Yeah we live in a very non-bw/natural area so I had to order online :(

I know there is a place near here called baby earth. It is a bunch of eco friendly organic stuff. Maybe they would have stuff?
