it was right for me but i thought the ultrasound pic had to be between 5-7wks to determine gender :/ anyways its interesting and fun to do :)

ETA/ DS was on the right in the beginning but moved up to the left later on.

At 6 weeks, it was still a yolk sac...but mine was on the left and a boy. So no go for me.

The way I understood it was the placenta had to stay on the left or right side without moving.

During both of my pregnancies I did a number of experiments including Ramsey theory, Intelligender, and many many wives tales For BOTH of my pregnancies the Ramsey theory was wrong and Intellagender and all the wives tales were correct.

Ramzi's theory is only valid up until 6 weeks. And unless they look for the placenta formation that early and/or give you a printout of your ultrasound to know the correct orientation of everything, it will be unreliable for guessing purposes.
