Anyone else feel this way? Eva Marie's Mama 1 child; Albany, New York 728 posts

Whenever I leave DD I always feel bad like she knows I'm not there and misses me and thinks that I abandoned her. She's 5 weeks and I only leave her I occasionally if me and SO want to go see a movie or have a drink, or when I go to the gym. When I'm out I feel anxious that she's not with me and sad. I only leave her with my mom or my grandma so I know she's in good hands, I just feel so bad.

I used to feel that way when I started school and would have to leave him, I couldn't focus or anything so I had to end up leaving school to spend those years with him, they grow up so fast. Now he's four and I'm back in school finally lol but it's normal to feel bad, happens to everyone

Completely normal! I am the exact same way. DH and I didn't leave our son at all until he was almost 5 months old. Even now (he's 10.5 months), I only leave him if he's asleep. We'll put him to bed, and then go over to a friend's house, or to the movies. MIL is the only one who watches him.
