if your baby was born bigger 8+ lbs, how many diapers do you think they used in nb and size 1? i am trying to stock up ahead of time at the mommy class i go to. i can get 12 diapers every week for 1 credit (i receive 2 credits for the class and 1 for the homework if i bring it back) i have had 4 kids but i cannot remember how long til they wre in a size 2 which i know lasted a longer time then the first two. anyway i have 2 dozen nb diapers and about 5 dozen size 1 and a dozen size 2 so far. i can get more every week and i wonder which should i stock up on. (i cant rememebr what the weight is on the nb and size 1) btw i am assuming she will be 8+ lbs because my full term babies were 8 10, 10 2, and 9 10. so i think i just have bigger babies.

They never used NB. Straight to 1, and I'm not sure for how long. My first was over 5 years ago, and my second was in cloth. Born 8 lbs 9 oz and 9 lbs 5 oz

Ditto. First was 8lbs 10oz, and she never fit into NB the right way. We tried, but it just didn't work.

i used the nb on my babies at the hospital and for like a week at least at home thats why i didnt get a bunch of them from the class. im hoping 2 dozen isnt too many lol cause i cant exchange them. and i dont want them to go to waste.

never used NB. She was almost 10 pounds at birth, at 6 weeks we could go to 2's, but we are trying to use up as much of the 1's as possible first.

My kids were both 8 and 9 lbs. not a chubby newborn but still small if that makes sense. They were in NB clothing and nappies for a couple months.

My baby was 8lb and barely fits into them. I haven't bothered using the rest. :x

oh well i guess the nb size diapers i have can be a just in case shes smaller or born earlier for whatever reason. (i have gone overdue with 2 and the other was right at her due date) and my smallest was 7 10 and born at 38 weeks.

I think it also depends on length. My LO was 8lbs 9oz at birth and gained steadily but was still in NB size for about a month as well as newborn size clothes. She was a tiny chunk

This were both my kids. They were long. They still are very skinny. My daughter is 5 and 39lbs and my son is 3 and 26lbs.
