I had a friend who used Oxy Elite Pro and lost 50lbs, but he also worked out a lot.

I used it for about a week for the energy to start working out, then stopped. It didn't seem to suppress my appetite any like it claimed, but that was good for me because I wasn't looking for that.

Ive been eating healthy, drinking more water than normal and not eating after 6 and i dropped 6 pounds in a week. My friend who's done it has lost 10 in 3 weeks and you can see a huge change.

My mothers tried about 3 popular ones & they helped a little but once she stopped taking them she gained all the weight back plus some. Cutting out sodas for 6 months helped my BIL lose 50lbs. I am slowly exercising & I will be weighing myself soon to see how much I've lost in a 4 month period

I am on phentermine and I haven't dropped a single lb. I have been on it for 2 months. I am on it not really 100% to lose weight but to prevent the rapid gain until they get my hormones under control (some issues as a result of surgeries and now trying to get my own functions back under control).

When I am healthy, I have the most success maintaining my weight by eating healthy foods. I eat whole grains, more veggies than fruit and smaller portions of grain than anything. I do eat a moderate amount of protien but mostly veggies. Also, not eating late, staying hydrated (we often mistake dehydration for hunger) and rather than grazing, eating balanced meals. Sitting at the table even for a snack will help stop the grazing and poor eating habits as well.

Supplements don't really do much of anything but waste your money. Honestly.

Before you go to the nurtitionist, journal all you eat every time you eat for a week straight. Try to do exact measurements and calories if you can. It will give you and the nutritionist an idea of what isn't working for you and what to change.

I don't take diet pills, but I take cinnamon pills and chromium supplements! i went to a weight loss hypnosis class and they reccomended those two things to help burn fat. im not sure if it helps because I started excersizing too but i have before and after on my page.

With a high protein low-fat/carb diet, I lost 30lbs between April 20 and July 31 (3mo). I went from 175 to 144. I gained a few lbs back during a cross-country move (4 days driving with no work out and only fast food, then a week or so of no real food while i unpacked)---I weighed 147 right before I got pregnant and currently weigh weigh 156 at 28 weeks pregnant. 9lbs up at 28 weeks isn't bad considering I've been totally unable to work out die to being high risk!

yes it does! I used it all the time when we were trying to figure out my weight problem. My thyroid checked out clear so it had to be my eating right? Nope! lol After better testing and a better examination of all the meds I have been on as a result of my health, it was a compound issue. However, the my fitness pal has kept me eating properly along with the phentermine and has stopped the rapid gain so we can get me leveled out. This way, when I am finally not all jacked up, the remaining 30lbs will just slip right off. It is sooooo user friendly! I wish it was printable though! You can't really take it into the RD and say "Here"! lol

I know so many people who've gained weight as a result of medications and they struggle to keep it under control, one of those people being my mom. It makes me feel so bad for them, I can't imagine how incredibly frustrating that would be!

Mine was large in part to the shock to my body with all the surgeries. It really isn't necessarily the meds. Some meds do make me a little more hungry than normal so I have to really remind myself that I don't need to feed the beast because it is fine without the food. I had part of my pancreas cut off in a surgery and my liver lacerated. Both weren't supposed to happen. When my pancreas was lacerated, it wasn't helping to process my food properly. That was the start of the drama. I was also on a self injection that dried up my body fluids to try and stop the seeping of the pancreas so it could heal. It made the pancreas lazy. I am hoping to be at the tail end of this mess. I just had a partial hysterectomy. That should be the last of the last for a while.
