Man, all this catfish talk is making me hungry. I'm gojng to cracker barrell tomorrow and getting the spicy grilled catfish...mmmm!

Catfish was a no no and certain shell fish was on the list. Honestly i wouldn't eat any fish caught in lake Michigan or the milwaukee river, they may have cleaned up the pollution and things are better but if rather be safe them eat contaminated food

Elementary schools don't often have two choices available. I do know that Jr High and High Schools do.

You really think they are going to serve kids contaminated food...? Come on, the government can be a little shady but they are not going to risk billions of dollars in potential lawsuits.

Not here. Well, at least they didn't 4 years ago when my nephews were in elementary. I am not sure now. I guess I will find out next year when the twincesses start kindergarten!

They probably do now. Check your county's webpage. Michelle Obama is behind a lot of the new school lunch laws.

Budget cuts= fewer.choices for food. And not at my sons school they eat what they get or nothing, but thankfully my sons teacher keeps granola bars and personal serving bowels of cereal in the class just in case

I loved high school, you had the choice of school hot lunch, a paid salad bar or paid pizza/snack station and then vending machines in the commons area
