I know I could do it, but my husband and son would not be happy if I took away cheese and milk! They're addicted! lol
Homemade almond milk is soooooooooo delicious. I can drink that all day.
I like one store bought brand, but that's it.

Yes, it is easier to fight temptation if it isn't around. I love raw almonds and sunflower seeds. Those are my go-to snacks.
I think after the first few weeks it is a lot easier and you stop craving the bad stuff.
The thing about processed food is some of the additives are meant to make you consume more of the product and crave it. It messes with enzymes and hormones that indicate you're full.

I love sunflower seeds! I could eat them all day long. I also love fruits and vegetables I just always forget they're in the fridge and go to the cookies or something instead. I have to stop buying the junk food. And start working out more.

You have to soak your almonds for 12+ hours and you can buy a cheese cloth type bag(reuseable) or just use a cheese cloth. When all is done, you can use the remains to make almond flour. This recipe calls for Agave sweetner, but using Dates gives it such a good flavor. You can leave out the vanilla is you want too.

Paleo Diet or "Caveman Diet" is about consuming foods that were only available during the paleolithic era. As many have already said, its about clean eating and not eating refined foods and what not. YOu have to be able to kiss your pasta's and I think rice goodbye! You are supposed to purchase things like grass fed beef over the regular stuff that you get at the store becuase the grain fed animals puts some of that grain back into your diet. People who follow the lifestyle have good results and def can cut down some extra lbs. The thing about paleo and really with any good diet is that its a lifestyle change and not a short term fix. You have to be commited to changing your habits for good for the best results. I plan on switching to paleo after I deliver but I didnt want to do anything too different in the middle of my pregnancy. Right now I just try to eat good foods and avoid things that are over processed. Google Nerdfitness.com they have a great expliantion of the paleo diet and its very easy to understand.

I did it before. It's how I figured out I have a gluten intolerance. It's hard to do (because you make almost everything from scratch, so almost no eating out), it's time consuming, and it's pretty expensive. However, I think it's a good option for a lot of people. I think we eat too many grains generally, so cutting them out or down is a good thing.

I did the Paleo and I lost soooooooooo much weight... I looked soooo good, and I was never hungry...

However, it got expensive...

Oh I miss it though... I still got cravings like crazy and eating out with friends was almost impossible because no one understood the diet.

So could I do what another woman said and just kinda do half and haf? Go as clean as is possible but still eat/drink dairy? I don't eat out anymore accept on very rare occasion but I still eat a lot of processed foods that I know I could cut out.
So pretty much I'm asking, if I just do it half and half will it still do anything? Obviously it wont be as effective as just going straight to the paleo diet but maybe it will still help me be healthier and loose some weight?

IMO it's more about eating right then losing weight. If you want to build muscle and get healthy, cutting out dairy and grains are a great thing to do. If you want to still eat some of those things, it's better then eating a ton, you know? You still need to watch how much you eat.
