Hi ladies,

I just wanted to compare my gym routine with a few other peoples so I know if I should be doing things differently - ie. Reps, amount of weight etc..

Right now I go to the gym 4-6 times a week, and alternate days between cardio and weight training. On days I do weight training I start with a ten minute warm up, do whatever muscle group I have selected that day, and then finish with 20-30 minute cardio. With the weights I lift as much as I can as long as I can do over 12 reps.. but I push myself to do closer to 15-25 reps.

I don't have much of a ground workout (like working with the weight of your own body) except when it comes to legs and abs. I don't do a lot for my arms, chest, and back in this area.. so I should probably improve that.. any suggestions?

Days when I do cardio I will usually do 30 minute high intensity interval training on the elliptical, and then also on the treadmill, then I do 15 minutes on the stair climber and 15 minutes on the spin bike. Is that enough cardio 2-3 times a week, or should it be longer?

Any suggestions, or tips??

When I do go to the gym I do 30 minutes on the elliptical or cross trainer...and then I spend 20 or so lifting weights. I do reps of about 10 two times around
upper body one day then lover body, and or course abs every day..
