Ok ladies, when I had my son I used Johnson and Johnson. (everything) but since have heard and read some scary stuff about the ingredients. What soap do you ladies use? What lotion? I'm looking at either Avenno or Burt bee. TIA

I've used Aveeno forever. Will use Aveeno for this baby too.

I use Dove non scented bodywash and Aveeno Baby lotion because my kids have a problem with eczema and that seems to work.

I only use natural oils on LO instead of lotion. I use coconut oil and I have sunflower oil in her wipes. You can also use almond oil or vit e oil. Tey absorb really well and do not contaminate their blood stream like petroleum based products do.

I don't know if you can get these products there but I use Infacare bath wash and Elave baby lotion on my daughter. They're both extremely mild and they suit her skin type. Her skin is really dry, when she was newborn my public health nurse told me not to use anything of Johnson & Johnson. She said whatever's in those just makes skin conditions worse.

So much helpful advice and tips. For the coconut oil, where can I find it. Has anyone had problems with Aveeno and sensitive skin?

My kids have ezcema/sensitive skin and the Aveeno has actually helped keep it clear.

Sometimes it's in the cooking aisle. I found it at Walmart in the vitamins. But I ended up buying at gnc cause they had a bogo1/2 off deal haha. I use it for everything. I use it on my skin and hair too. I was using it in my wipes but my dd got a rash so I didn't know if that caused it so I stopped and I'm afraid to try it again. But it's fine on the rest of her skin. So idk.

California baby, there's no formaldehyde in it like there is most other baby products like johnson & johnson. Which makes no sense because they have to reformulate it for different countries so there's no formaldehyde in it. Our government just doesn't care apparently.

Thank you! I feel bad I used it with my son forever. -_-
