12 days late, Emerson Paige finally arrived last night and she is perfect! 7lbs 14oz and 21" long. I had a short, fast and furious 12 hour natural labor , as compared to the 84 hour labor I had with my son! Now that I'm done bragging about her perfection lol, a quick question...,
How long does it take for contractions to stop or at least slow down/ get better? It's been about 22 hours since baby was born and my contractions still really suck when she's feeding! I forget how long this lasted the first time around!

just remember it takes 9 months for your uterus to grow to the size of a watermelon, so it takes about a week or two for it to completely go back to normal. however, after the first week the nursing contractions should get much much better.
