I guess I'm just trying to figure out what is the best way to handle this....I like the naming his alter ego that way I can address it every time and not let it turn into big fights from it building up.
Being firm last time didn't do shit for me :(

So, you are going to "play games" in your relationship and hope it works out?

I bet if you really think about it, there are better ways to handle this situation. Especially before you marry him. Perhaps some "pre-marital counseling".

Im actually putting us in counseling once our income tax comes in....trying to keep it under control in the mean time...I kind of just lost it after a long morning of snarky comments/ bad attitude from him....even tho I cut the tip of my thumb off ( nail and all) while making breakfast and CONTINUED to make breakfast for him he complained the entire time. I wish I could leave I really do sometimes....like today.

Sounds like you should just go. If not permanently, at least long enough to get your self worth back in check. I am sorry but, there is a time for a snarky comment and a light hearted dig. Daily is not that time. We are all guilty of a little joke jab with our closest friends or loved ones once in a blue moon. That is what makes it funny. It is situationally appropriate and infrequent.

I can't tell you what to do but, from an outside perspective, my thought is time apart. Find somewhere to go. I don't know the entire dynamic of your relationship but, hurtful words consistently don't make anything better and they can never be taken back.
