Exactly.. I always believed that if someone is going to take the time out of their day to pick on you, you

I have tact when necessary, but tact in cases like this accomplish nothing. Bottom line is that the more she doesn't involve the police, the less this matters, and the more her safety and the safety of her baby is at risk.

When I was pregnant in high school, I had the same problem. Girls were calling my phone leaving voicemails that "I need to get my man in check, she just slept with him" funny considering I have been on the phone with him for 5 hours (you do that back before texting got popular) never found out who she was but, she spent all night with her friends calling me. A lot like you I was a loner in school kept to myself but, my boyfriend was the popular one so everyone knew of us.

I hate to think that your baby daddy is seeing someone else because it is possible that these young girls just get jealous and make up stories to hurt you.

I agree, but to a young girl who is already having issues, you may come across as a bully, or just another adult who likes to make the younger mothers feel inferior. Not saying it's always true, but I could see it being taken like that.

Then I should note that I was a teen mother and that I speak from the experience of knowing many very very stupid people and making many mistakes in my day.

So curious then. And I'm asking this really because I want to know, not to start anything. But if at 16 you had someone speak like you do to you about a situation you were in, how would you have felt and reacted?

I would have called the police, like I did when they did.

No, I meant like if something were said to you in the manner you deliver your opinions and advice more often than not, how would you have felt and reacted to it being said to you in that way?

Someone did, in this situation, and I did what they suggested.
