Ok so my doc gave me some samples of Lo loestrin fe and also called in a scrip.

Problem is i'm in NC visiting family and since I have MS medicaid my medicine isn't covered up here in NC and it would be 80 bucks.

I was thinking my husband could pick up the scrip and ship it to me...But i'm a little nervous about it being chilly outside. It's supposed to (at the lowest) get down to 36 degrees over night...

I mean, it is for painful periods so I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world if it wasn't as effective but still...

I was also thinking about calling my old OBGYN up here and explain the situation and see if she has any samples...

i don't think a bit of cold will do anything to the pills effectiveness.

in general, extreme heat will denature / degreade effectiveness of a medication much more than a bit of cold weather.

That's what hubby thought too...

I've done some googling and it looks like some planned parenthood locations will mail a 3 month supply to your house if you are a patient...So if they do it...
