but if you could choose what YOU personally thought was best. Obviously what you have to say doesn't mean anyone has to listen.

Feminism is all about choice. I am a feminist, therefor I think it's the woman's choice how to feed her baby. Of course breast has been proven best for the baby, but if the mother is on dangerous medication (or simply just doesn't want to!) no one should make her feel guilty. As long as the baby is being fed, it's no one's concern.

I would've never been able to FF. I was like a zombie in the middle of the nights when my kids woke up. I'd just flop a tit out and pass back out...

Lawl, this is the god honest truth. I HAD to switch to formula at 4m because I HAD to get on some medication that would have hurt her.

Formula feeding is a super major serious pain in the ass. x-x

That's very understandable.

I don't see why anyone should try to force people into trying something they have no desire to do, you know? Like those BF nazis, it's like shut the fuck up dude. The kid is being fed. Let it be.

I have twins and never had the desire to attempt to tandem feed them. I needed DHs help as well. Formula fed from day one. No regrets.

This is how I feel lol. Its just not something I feel I have the time to mess around with. I like being able to let SO feed DS whenever I need him to so I can get stuff done. Im too selfish for the stress of making sure Im eating right all the time. Too selfish to not take the pills I take to keep myself sane. Too selfish to deal with bleeding, cracked nipples and stretched out boobs. Too selfish. lol. I would be a stressed out bitch if I BFed!

Oh I agree. I'd never FORCE a woman to (or ya know, try to). I just suggest they try and if they say "no thanks" then, well their choice. I don't hound on and on about it.

And another thing... why do some women act like breastfeeding is this huge feat that they need to boast about? It's a biological function, all mammals do it. It's not special.

I bf my kids, but they're my kids, my tits.. My sister didn't bf and I didn't try to make her feel like shit. If you don't wanna do it, your business. Just feed the kid somehow lol

I wish women would. I am not going to preach about it though.

That bitch from that thread was ridiculous. -_-'

But I think every mother should give it a shot. If there's issues or if it's simply just not working out for them then at least they can say they tried. "I'm not breastfeeding my baby because he's a boy" or "i'm not comfortable with my body" are both stupid reasons.

Lol. I just feel like pumping wouldn't fit into my 8-5er. Lol.
My sister EBFs and she's got five kids under six.

I'm like shit. That's awesome.

Seriously, kudos to the women who do it so well.

because it's not always easy. Breastfeeding struggles can be emotional draining.
