IMO Breastfeeding is easier in several aspects unless your not comfortable to BF in public while using a cover. I would encourage others to try at least. I haven't used a drop of formula with my 1 & only son. In 2011 my sister had her first baby & he was FF. I hated having to wash, sterilize & put together a ton of bottles then mix up formula just to feed a baby. So I guess I breastfed partially because I'm lazy LOL :D

Agreed. I mean, I dont generally feel the need to post pics non stop of my child as I feed him his bottle. But, BFers feel like they need to post pics of their child BFing...I just dont understand it. Either way, we are doing our job and our job is to feed the kid. I dont see how it's something that needs pics taken of. lol.

Oh you work? Yeah, I'd probably end up saying fuck it as well. Pumping is the pits.

Yeah, I don't get what that was about. I do agree that it's great her baby is fed but I just don't get it... Did she ever say if it would be different if she had a girl?

I don't really care what people do. Whenever a friend of mine is pregnant and asks my opinion, I always say that breastfeeding is more beneficial and cheaper, cause it is, but it doesn't really matter as long as the kid is getting fed.

And I see BFing as something I dont want to do becuase I'm lazy haha. You dont have to constantly sterilize bottles....We have 3 bottles, and wash them when we wash dishes. I throw water in and formula and Im on my way. I can hand him and the bottle over to SO so I can get cleaning or whatever done...cant do that if I BFed! haha. Funny how everyone sees both sides of it so differently

I feel that unless there is a medical reason every woman should at least attempt to breastfeed since it has been proven to be better for baby. Obviously they aren't my boobs and I'm not going to force anyone, but I will at least attempt to breastfeed and would love to EBF for at least 1 1/2 to 2 years.

I don't think so. Whatever though. If she doesn't want to BF that's her choice but those reasons were so stupid!

Lol I can cook, clean, & do everything just fine while BF-ing. I like my showers to myself but we co-bathe as well. Everyone sees it as a struggle on both sides. I do mainly cuz I've done both so from experience I know which is easier for me personally. Doesn't mean it would be easier for anyone else though

Lactating is easy, breast feeding is not. We as a society have moved away from it so much that it's not really natural to us anymore... we aren't exposed to it our whole lives, we dont' have Moms/aunts/sisters/etc who did it to ask advice from.

Lol I don't think anyone should be forced to try it. I'm okay with whatever as long as baby is getting fed. I thought breastfeeding was easier than formula but my supply quit producing enough to feed my son at 4 months.
