Do you correct them?
DD's name is Abrielle. Pronounced AH-BREE-EL.
Ive heard everything from Gabrielle. AY-BRIL. AY-BREE-EL. etc.
If it's just someone in the grocery store that says her name once, I don't correct it. Whatever, my child is literally never going to see that person again.

Yes, yes I do :D Ezekiel. Pronounced E-Z-KEY-ELLE or E-Z-KEY-ULL are how I would prefer it be pronounced but I regularly get E-ZAY-KELL, EASY-KIEL & ZA-KELL

If it's family, a doctor, teachers, or family friends I correct. If it's anyone else I leave it alone.

My family has accents and they do the best they can so I leave it alone. Generally people figure it out. Nehemiah Nee-hey-my-uh

Pronounced AH-LISS-AH, but a lot pronunce it A-LISA. I liked the meaning and wanted it spelled and pronounced a certain way.

It depends on how badly they botched the pronunciation. My SS's name is Dracen, with a hard c...(Drake-en) Most people pronounce it with a soft c (Drase-en)...Yes, I would correct them.

I correct every. single. time. I am nice about it, until about the fourth time. Unless they are elderly or have hearing/speech problems. I want her to know it is okay to expect it to be pronounced the correct way. DH's stepmom and sometimes his dad say it wrong, I still say it right after.
