My boyfriend recently told me he likes the name Ava. It totally caught me off guard because he usually likes different names. I've always liked the name and now since I know he likes it, it's on my mind a lot. What one of these choices do you think fits best? Also, any suggestions for middle name would be great. Thanks!

my friend(another momma on this site) has an Ava Elise. How about Ava Michelle...for some reason it's the first name that popped in my head when I thought of Ava.

Quoting hobbit*:" claire after your grandmother."

I wish my grandma's name was spelled Claire.. but it's Clare, and thats the only reason I don't want to use the name. I think it's beautiful, but I don't like that spelling :(

You can spell it different, she'll still be named after her. I was going to use Irena after my gramma Irene

Ava Claire... Or Ava Grace (which I know isn't on your list, but it sounds nice together)

I forgot to mention Ava Hope too. I love the name Hope for some reason.

Our daughter's nickname is pronounced like Ava and her middle name is Camille. It could work.

ETA: Her full name is Evalina.
