No it has been proven that children feed solids or rice cereal before 6 months are more likely to be obese.

That is some of the most ignorant crap I've ever read.

Bad eating habits certainly can, and DO, start as infants. It's not necessarily about what they eat, but how MUCH and WHEN. Also, feeding babies solids because they're fussy and you assume their fussiness means they're not satisfied teaches them to use food for comfort. Also, formula-fed babies are more likely to be overweight because it changes their metabolism.

Incorrect.

Most fruits are carbs which means they turn into sugar as soon as they hit your blood stream. Awesome for working out, but babies don't work out.

Fat cells acquired as a child are 10% more difficult to get rid of as an adult because of how many times they have divided over time.

You should seriously read a book.

For everyones information I talked to his doctor even brought him in and he even told me its okay!! His a normal health. I did the same thing for my oldest and his kinda tall and skinny. Not every baby is the same!! Told me.to keep an eye on him and I do!! And I don't give the while thing just about a tablespoon if it!! I do that every other day which was recommended by his doctor. He does not get it every day at every meal. I tried the rice cereal he hated it. He loves oatmeal more and e don't get much of that either. I checked with his doctor about everything before starting. So you can get off my back!!!!

Like I said, most doctors aren't up-to-date on the issue. You should do your own research and not just take everything your doctor says as fact.

You need a new doctor. And WHY are you bothering if its a tablespoon every other day, when he can't even digest it properly?

Yes I know. Your children are MORE likely to be obese because of your actions.
