But you're trying to lose weight, so healthiER is not the point. Beneficial, is the point.

I'm just saying, my friend went vegetarian to help her lose weight, she was eating significantly healthy and she actually gained it. You need to find the balance that is perfect for you with the amount of exercise you do.

Smaller portions, protein, veggies, fruit, whole grains. Ect. Once you find your balance then you will drop weight and still remain healthy.

A detox for a few days isn't going to make you skinny, not is it going to give you the proper nutrients your body needs. It's not teaching you to be healthy, you're cutting out 90% of food options. You do that with any foods and you're going to lose something by default, but it's not healthy.

I would go for a coconut water instead of Gatorade. Does the same thing without all the shit in Gatorade.

How much research have you done on detoxing your body?

Also, why must you, on every thread, think you know everything? It's pretty annoying.

Plenty.

And as far as health and fitness, I know quite a bit. I generally don't tend to speak if I don't think I know what I'm talking about.

Protein shakes and almond water would be the reason.

Bandages with lotion on them are not. Seriously, google them. They're a scam.

OP, I'd say the first thing to do is to track everything you eat. Every single bite. A lot of times, especially if we aren't tracking, we aren't realizing how much we are actually eating. We tend to be wrong about sizes, and like to "ignore" small amounts that add up quickly.

So I'd track everything and take it into your Dr. Also track your exercise. You can see if you have a deficit and if you really are not losing despite doing everything right (which is rare) they can test your thyroid adn some other things.

Most of the time however, I think we fool ourselves into thinking we are eating better and less then we really are. It really doesn't take much to screw up a good diet.

i dont think they are a scam, my mom had gastric bypass 5 years ago, lost 100 lbs, after 3 wraps shes lost 4 inches on her waist of just lose skin, her stretch marks are hardly noticeable, she does not drink almond milk, or protein shakes, i go for walks and i do pole and floor exercise, and she has lost twice as many inches as me,

when i started drinking almond milk, protein shakes and increased water intake, was after my 3rd child was born, 18 months ago... then i was 170,
Started pole and floor dance 10 months ago went to 150,
Started walking my son to and from school and we live in the hills, 5 months ago lost another 10 lbs.
After doing two wraps 2 months ago, lost the last 2 inches i wanted to lose on my waist and down another 10 lbs...

You further proved my point. They momentarily tighten skin. You could do the same thing with seaweed.

HEALTHY EATING AND PROPER EXERCISE!

I don't mean to be rude, but you should only expect to see results matching the effort you put in. Exercising on and off is not going to give you great results, and you are going to have to do more than cut out sodas from your diet. You need to be practicing portion control, and make sure you are exercising 4-6 times a week. You are wasting your time and money when you try using a quick fix - wraps, shakes, etc. You need to focus on creating a lifestyle change, something that you can maintain for the rest of your life. Diet is the most important factor when it comes to weight loss, you can eat your way through any amount of exercise! Personally, I just focus on staying between 1200-1600 calories a day. I don't restrict my calories to a certain set number daily because it's too stressful, and I start to obsess over it. I avoid processes, and refined foods, and just try to focus on clean eating!

I recommend weight lifting to anyone who wants to lose weight and tone their body. As a woman it will NOT make you bulky, or manly. It will shred the fat off your body and build lean muscle, which is a good thing.

Thanks all for the replies.

My biggest issue is not being hungry and missing meals. Then when I do eat its a larger portion. I.e. it's 1:33 here and I haven't had a thing today not even water... I am just not hungry/thirsty

I didn't say I doing everything right I just don't know where to start :/

I will start tracking meals and going from there. Maybe once I figure out food intake the exercise will work better?

I told you that it sucks out water weight through salt, correct? Notice that they tell you to drink water when you use them.
