I'm curious whether or not you live on base yet.

1. You'll get along FANTASTICALLY with a small group of women. But their husbands won't last long in the military.

2. The rest of the wives will want nothing to do with your attitude and bullshit.

It would have been sooooo different if she hadn't started her 1st thread out with relationship issues & people putting down her decisions thus far. Then proving just why everyone does.

Quoting LEGENDARY JAS ♥:" Lol, sorry but your whole post just screams "ain't gonna last long". You're 18. He's 20. He's in the ... [snip!] ... have been married long so I don't know how you can sit here and say that it gets hard sometimes....you're barely married."

Now this is negative! I got married at 18 and my hubby was 20 and in the Navy and at first we did fight a lot trying to adjust to living together and moving away from family and friends. I am now 25 and he is 27 and we just celebrated our 7 year wedding anniversary on the 4th of March.

According to her, they've been living together for a while.

Her relationship will not make yours get any better.

She acknowledges her problems. You do not.

I agree with Mandee :D Sometimes people need a non-sugar coated truth.

I dont think it was just an age thing, but all of the context of the post in general.

And....you should know more then anyone how challenging a young marriage is.

Exactly. I got married at 17 the first time. It only lasted 4 years, because he was immature and I wasn't. He wanted to party and I didn't. I couldn't imagine how hard it would have been with both of us being immature...

And? I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about her.

And I don't care how long you or anyone else has been married, it doesn't mean that both parties are happily married.

Oh I agree about the context of the post. It did seem like she was blatantly ignoring a problem but she could of worded it wrong. She did get offensive and react to the responses badly. I was mainly commenting on the negative response she got from Legendary Jas saying her marriage wasn't going to last because she was 18 he is 20, he's in the military, and they fight. Those aren't reasons why a marriage would fail. A marriage fails when someone gives up or has had enough.
