So this is TMI but yesterday I went to the bathroom and found blood. I freaked out because i had thought i lost my mucus plug weeks ago. So i went to L&D to see if this was really it as i wasn't feeling any pain. The lady checked me and said i was 1cm and still thick also said there should be alil bleeding but not much. So i wake but this morning and there is more blood not alot just about the same as yesterday. So can you lose your mucus plug only in one part of the day or is it from my cervix thinning out? This is my first child so I'm not all that sure what to do and the blood doesn't look bright red.

You can lose it several times throughout the months.
But bloody show usually means labor is coming soon.

You can loose your plug all at once or little by little. It could be a sign labor is starting soon for you my friend. You may not spot if your cervix is thinning (at least I have never heard of it happening) but I am not a professional on that one. If it continues throughout the day or becomes more that just light spotting I would go back in or call the doctor.
