Really curious what everyone's weekly workout routine looks like, and also - what is everyone eating?!
I need some good, healthy ideas. I am currently breastfeeding, and trying to still get in 2000 healthy/mostly healthy calories per day.
I am also using the 30 day shred (4-5 times a week), and my bowflex tread climber (3-4 times a week) and just this week I started using Tracy Anderson's post baby workout to mix it up a bit. I usually will do one video, and then jump on the tread climber for about 15-20 minutes at a challenging pace.
I have not and cannot seem to lose any weight! I must be doing something wrong. I do love carbs, but I try really hard to not eat them all day long. My day usually consists of cereal in the morning and coffee, protein shake or bar for snack, eggs with cheese for lunch or some other source of protein and maybe cottage cheese or fruit, one more decent snack, and for dinner I usually do chicken and rice with a veggie or some sort of lean meat with a couple good, healthy sides. And maybe I'll have one more snack after dinner, but usually not.
I drink A LOT of water. I rarely drink pop, rarely go out to eat.. I feel like I'm trying really hard to better myself with little to no avail. I gained a lot while pregnant (55 lbs), dropped about 30 lbs initially and now I'm back up to 160 lbs.. I MUST be doing something wrong. Maybe it's stress? Or the mini-pill? I don't know what to try next.. this is just heartbreaking. :( I want to get rid of my scale!

I've heard this before.. I guess I'm one of those women? Sigh. I'll just keep working on it, see what happens. At least I'll have better habits by the time I stop breastfeeding, and maybe it'll all fall off then. Can only hope!

I threw out my scale for this very reason. I use to be obsessed with how much I weighed and what I wanted to weigh, when in reality I just wanted to have a better shape (tone up in the right places) and over all be healthy.
Mornings I eat fresh fruit and yogurt.
Snack granola bars/healthy snacks (like low calorie chips, popcorn)
Lunch Salad (sometimes add chicken breast)
Snack veggies (like celery, tomato and cucumber-no dressing)
Dinner- Usually chicken, grilled or baked with veggie sides.
If it's pasta (which we all LOVE) or something that isn't as healthy (hamburger helper is the devil because it is so easy and fast to make and some are so yummy!) I just eat smaller portions and eat more vegetables.
I love veggies so having them as snacks is easy for me.
I drink water and no soda and very rarely juices.
I have cut down on rice and tortillas (use to have with just about every meal)
I go to the gym and try to go 3 times a week for 1 1/2-2 hours. I start out with weight lifting and abdominals. Move on to cardio. And try to work in swimming on my own, and if I don't do swimming on my own we do family swimming.
I've also told husband that we need to get out more as a family. This last weekend we went hiking up at our National Monument and we all enjoyed it (Jazzy, being 8 months, seemed content lol)
