Lunch to go (healthy) *~*allykat*~* 1 child; Washington 891 posts

This will be a post and run..

On April 1st I will be starting school again, and I will be having classes from 1pm to 9pm. The college is over an hour drive from my house so I will be needing to bring lunch/dinner and snacks with me to the college. I need some good ideas for things that don't need to be heated.. I'm not much of a sandwich fan, and I won't have access to a microwave or anything(the cafeteria and stuff is over a block away from the building I will be in, so I won't be walking back and forth)

I do have a salad thing that keeps the dressing in a seperate compartment, but I don't want to eat salad all day. I am so picky... But I need to figure some stuff out now so that I am prepared when classes start.

Any ideas? please and thanks!

I just took a can of tuna, relish and mayo and put it on a whole wheat wrap with some lettuce and pepper... I know you said you're not a sandwich fan but I'm not either, I find wraps very different from your reg. sandwich lol

Veggies and dip, fruit and dip. Couscous, pasta salad, smoothies (Freeze them and they'll be ready at some point during the day)... Wraps. Cheese...

Sorry I forget if you want meals or just snacks. Just some idea.

The store in town makes an amazing pasta salad, I'm gonna try to get the recipe.
