I believe this is just plain bullshit.
I am also the type that I am Christian (or at least relate as one) but I do not believe in the bible. MAN wrote the bible, and men are not known to be perfect or truthful.
I believe that being a good person IS good enough. I highly doubt that God would punish someone who was a good and just person just because they questioned the Bible.
I am a Christian - LDS, and I believe in Angels. In scripture, heavenly messengers appeared to Abraham and Hagar in Genesis, Adam in Moses 5:6, Moses and the children of Israel in Exodus, as well as numerous others. In my religion, the Angels of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, and many others returned as messengers and to converse with our Prophet Joseph Smith. Even as a non-LDS Christian, there are numerous occasions in which Angels appeared, so to not believe in them seems to be contradictory to the belief in the Bible. This is just my opinion, though. To each their own :)

You believe it's bull because you believe in a God that made everything you see and everything you don't see but you don't believe in a God that can protect the integrity of ONE book.
You cannot be a Christian and not believe the Bible.

Yeah I don't think human spirits do either no just think its an early way for people to imagine their loved ones in heaven, as angels. Guardian angel type things idk who or what they are. I just feel protected that's all I know. Maybe it's God himself working and we consider it an angel here on earth idk. Ill never know until I die so I try not to fret over it. I just admit that idk what God has planned after death and I don't really try to understand and just know where in going and see what happens when I get there I suppose. Some things are not meant to be understood completely I don't think.
I won't vote in your poll because I'm not Christian, but I'm Muslim and believe in angels. I don't believe that humans become angels, though. I believe Angels are a separate creation made from light and their only purpose is to record deeds (good and bad), relay the message to messengers and prophets, and worship God.
Im Christian and I believe inAngels. I dont believe in ghosts because the Bible says once you die you lose all memory of earth. Once you are gone, you are gone and I dont think spirits look down on us. I also dont think there are women angels, well there might be but there was no mention of them in the Bible.
Quoting lolajessup:" oh interesting, I have never heard we forget earth when we die. can you let me know where thats at so I can go read it please :)"
Its actually in a couple places. i know Ive heard it in psalms and Revelations so Ill go look, but the one thats most brought up is in Isaiah
17"For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;
And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.
also to clarify my thoughts, I dont think your mind just goes BLANK from WHO you are, I just think you forget earthly troubles and people and just glory in God in Heaven...if that makes sense?
I don't have any affiliation with any religion however I do believe in angels and that they help souls while they are on their earthly journey.

There are plenty of reports of gay people who almost died and briefly journeyed to heaven. They felt welcomed and loved and sexual orientation was meaningless. Being gay to me is part of that soul's mission for that life and indeed has a divine purpose. Religious texts don't have all the answers.

Not only that but God does not punish anyone. I believe in the natural laws of cause and effect but they are what cause souls to grow and is not punishment. All souls in my opinion are designed to self correct.
Strange...I have never met a Christian that didn't believe in Angels. How can they get past them when reading scripture? There are numerous examples given.

I agree. I don't feel god judges us based on sexual orientation. Plus a lot of things in the bible were written for someone specific or a specific group for that time. Not to be used as a general rule for all. That is a common thing I hear people mistakenly try to quote the bible out of context.
