Whats the best way to go about finding something/someone to go to? Preferably something that would be covered by insurance (i have medicaid, and blue cross blue shield).

Can you talk to your primary caregiver and see if they can recommend someone?

Or even if you have an OBGYN I'm sure they can direct to someone or at least someone that help you find something.

Do you need referrals for new services or can you just go?

You can google grief counselors in your area, find one that you wouldnt mind going to, call and ask if they are accepting new patients with your insurance. If they say yes you can just make an appointment. If you need a referral for your insurance to cover it you can get one from your primary doctor or gyno.

With Blue cross, you can register with their website and they can let you search their online database for providers in network

Thanks everyone.

And im not sure about referals. Never really looked into anything about counselling and who needed what referals.

Ill google that and the blue cross stuff in the morning (when i can actually get on the computer)

And maybe ours has that, because thats what i would really need the sudden loss.
