oh my goodness I wouldn't be able to keep them straight lol
I love "S" names..my boys names are Stewart and Sage. And if we have a girl SO and I love the name Scarlett. I never really set out doing that on purpose but I guess S names sound better to me.
Quoting Madi's*Mama:" I'm really hoping for a boy this time and Mason just sounds nice with our last name plus we can use Scott ... [snip!] ... keep the tradition from DH's family going. DH is Scott, his dad's middle name is Scott so I think it would be nice to use it. "
Mason Scott is cute. i love McKenzie too!

yeah that's kind of how it was with us to. It's not on purpose they just sound good to us. Also, I feel they are, idk how to say it, 'normal'. Like not crazy off the wall names, KWIM?
My mom sorta matched our names, Erica Sierra snd Dakota. They all have three syllables and end in A. My niece happened to follow (Calisha) and my daughter did too (Aria) neither my sister or I noticed we did it until after our children were born. lol
EDT for phone stupidity.

Ya, I wouldn't go out of my way to make all my kids names start with a specific letter and just make them up as I go. They have to be real names that sound nice. If this baby is in fact a boy (my dr isn't 100%) he most likely won't have an S name because SO and I have only liked 2 or 3 names and they don't start with an S.
When MIL was younger, she knew a family who's kids:
I personally am not for matching names. Even if I had twins I wouldn't pick similar or matching names, and wouldn't dress them the same either. I see parents that have kids (same sex) a couple years apart and dress them in the exact same clothes only different sizes . I mean to each their own right, but not for me.
Names with the same letter isn't a big deal. Our first DD is named Emmy and if we have a boy we love the name Evan so they will have the same beginning leter and same number of letters lol.

I'm so tempted to. If we have another girl it will be on the short list I guarantee it.
It would depend on the names.
I feel like I might have that same problem. I have a son Alistair and if we have a girl I have picked out Athena, and DH really LOVES Atlas. I think I may go with Caspian though just so they don't match.
Quoting Madi's*Mama:" So just curious on what others think of names that match or all start with the same letter. I always ... [snip!] ... minds because we discussed this when I was still pregnant with DD  :) I'm just curious to see others opinion on this. "
Usually I hate it, but I kind of like the idea of having twins named Aurora and Athena.

This is the name I have picked out for my next girl. Athena Juliette.
