Quoting Subtle As A Hurricane:" I'm B+. I've only donated blood once at 17. I haven't qualified since then because I've always gotten a tattoo or piercing before the one year waiting period is up. Plus, when I was pregnant. "

I know in SC it's been changed. As long as its done in a legitiamate shop, and no question about the needles being sterile, you can donate before that year is up. (like I wanna say the next day you could or something, not sure on exact time frame)

I don't think it's changed here. A couple years ago one of my ex-boyfriend's friends was questioned about a tattoo when trying to donate blood because it looked new. He just has a good artist and knows how to take care of his tattoos.

My family and I were just talking about this. I'm A+, my mother is A- and my father is A +.
No idea about my CMV status.

now thats the spirit! Show me that you really know how to use that awesome bedside manner that your community college taught you when you got your associates. At least you learned something. You surely lack basic comprehension

I'm A+ and I definitely donate anytime I can....

But I don't feel like they need my blood at all because A+ is the most popular blood type.
