Quoting Mandy and her girls!~:" And also looking at all the people in the world I would have to say that statement isn't very true "

It absolutely is true when you look at it per cycle. For most women of normal fertility, most of their eggs will never be able to make babies.

Did your doctor test your AMH? Whether or not you can conceive after 35 is based almost purely on your own ovarian reserve and everyone is different!

Read my statement below that. I just meant that getting pregnant over time is not a rare thing since most women can get pregnant.

Oh I don't think anyone was saying that. The whole per cycle/per 12 cycles was cause for the confusion I believe.

It was a test that had to be done on the third day of my period
It was a blood test

That's FSH, which is also a test for ovarian reserve but not as accurate as AMH. I would request an AMH test! My FSH is normal but my ovarian reserve is so poor I have to use donor eggs. My AMH test accurately reflected that.

My mom got pregnant with my brother when she was 40... And my SIL is 43 and JUST got pregnant... However it was EXTREMELY difficult for her to get knocked up.
