Its not meant for babies to be kept in it for all of their sleep, like through the night, etc, as far as I know.

And I know they had some issues with mold.

Um I would have been angry too! I hate the traditional bassinets.. If I could afford one I'd get a Cariboo!

I'm not positive about the first part either, though I have read on here aLot of people say they use theirs full time.
And as far as I am aware it is only the original yellow version that had issues.. I'd think that would be more of a "user error" though.. What can't collect mold if you don't keep it clean?

BUT I just saw they also make a portable bassinet version

My son isn't a fan of it. Never has slept in it. It's night to put him in when I'm cooking. Not meant for all night sleeping.

I loved mine. My son slept in his at night but not as much during the day. As long as there not in the thing all the time your ok. With my second we purchased that boppy noggin pillow because she refused to sleep in anything but her swing , just so she wouldn't get a flat spot and it worked great! I also tend to ware my babies so they are really only sleeping in there beds for the night .

We absolutely love it. She sleeps a lot in it though not full time. We switch between crib, rock n play, and co-sleeping. I have the original yellow and no mold issues. I mean the cloth part is washable lol

Yeah I'm not so sure .. my first laid flat in his pack n play, and was super easy to transition to crib so not sure I want to make sure a big adjustment from rocking and incline to sa solid flat surface.
Fisher Price Liam's that it is, but I've read otherwise from "pediatricians" online

I was the same, my son never napped in his pack n play, I either had him in bed with me, in his swing or I was wearing him.. But even at night he spent some time in our bed when we nursed.. I'm just too paranoid to fully co sleep, I never slept well.

I don't understand the mold issue either .. Just like the bumbo I think it has to be user error

Never mind! Found a $400 Cariboo on CL for a $200 .. It includes the arm and veil so I asked her if she would take a $100 removing the two, she said I could just have everything for $100 :D
