Pregnancy after 25 weeks and preparing for baby!!! WrightsWife Due June 26; Florida 431 posts

Just a curiosity... after you hit the 25th week marker of your pregnancy did time seem to fly past or did things slow down and drag on and on? I have basically 4 months left but I feel like that is NOTHING, especially when you are preparing for something.. I mean SOMEONE! I have tons.to get done and feel like time is passing quickly. I have nothing for baby except clothes, a stroller and nippy pillow. All I got as gifts besides a few outfits I got to celebrate when we found out the sex! My midwife said a lot of moms start putting their nursery into place. So I guess my questions are... how fast/slow did your pregnancy go after 25 weeks? Did you use a guideline on what to get and when? To help keep you on track and prepare you. What are some thinsgs you realize last minute of after baby that you NEED? Maybe small things that are easy to forget? What are things that can wait a bit, like high chair? Any other advice on the topic is appreciated! I feel the need to plan. This is "nesting" I suppose? Lol.

I'm Only 19 weeks and my nursery is pretty much complete already. I've also known we were expecting since 4.5 weeks so I've had plenty of time to plan and buy. Now don't get me wrong I still have several things I need to buy. But my pregnancy has crept the entire time for me. My husband said its going by quickly but that is only because he works 8-10 hours a day. Best of luck love!

I've known since 5 weeks, but every time I bring up getting anything for the baby/nursery I have people in my ear "you don't need that yet!".. Then they bring me tons of baby stuff. Its like oh, ok, you're allowed to go and enjoy buying stuff for MY first baby, but I get gripped at when I talk about which crib I like or something.. My pregnancy crawled SLOWLY from when I found out until about 17 weeks.. now I'm 25 weeks and I feel like I was just 17 weeks along yesterday. I just hope it doesn't slow back down. DH is military so he's away and I have so much to do before baby is born. Including finding a new house AND moving AND furnishing the place. Time seems to fly when you have too much to get done, lol. It's annoying right now because all I want to do is "nest" but I'm not in our house yet, and can't buy things I have no place to store. I've been making lists and everything lol. I need to get some of this stuff checked off my list!

Oh my.. I hope we don't take that long to find a new place.. I am a little over 25 weeks and looking for places now so hopefully everything is settled before 2 weeks before my due date! Especially considering they may move it up.
