good for you. When my lo was 2 months old i had ppd really bad and was really considering giving him up for adoption but than i kept thinking about how i would feel a few months from than about the decision and how could separate my kids from each other. Obviously i never did it and i am doing great to this day my lo is now 6 months old and i love him to death and wouldnt trade him for anything, but i know how it feels to want to give your kid up for adoption and how hard it can be to be a single parent. it sounds like your doing great now though

Hey everyone just giving an update I'm going through a program right now called jummp through dss and have nailed an interview at Olive Garden the interview was okay, I was super nervous but I think I did good. I'm hoping to start work there soon :) I'm still on my meds and my son is doing good (he's a lil sick right now lil bumps all over) I took him to the doc and she said its a warning sign for him getting sick but I think he's coming down with the measles, but hey I'm no doc but ill give it some time to see if the bumps go away. I don't remember if I mentioned going to a fathers place (local father support group) in my last post but if I did I wound up doing the jummp program instead now that I may have a job I'm thinking of starting at the group this week. I'm sure there are a lot of fathers out there that are in my shoes and i guess it'd be supportive to tell my story and hear their stories also. Well this is my update lol ill keep you guys posted oh and almost forgot I got back into church and my son LOVES Sunday school lol. I will keep you guys updated on my progress and I can't thank you guys enough for the support you've given me Thanks Again :)

Good news it wasn't measals, doc said he had an allergic reaction so I'm paying close attention to his foods, detergent, and ect not sure what could have caused it but I think it maybe mozzerella.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well! I know I'm kind of late to this, but I think it's really great that people gave you such awesome advice, and it's really great to see that you've really listened to it and are bettering yourself. Depression is very tough and completely changes the way a person's mind works. I'm so glad to hear that you were able to get help, and it sounds like you're on a GREAT path. Best of luck to you and your kiddo! :)
