I entered the 1/2 marathon. This was me last year, finishing in 2:17ish.
I'm not nearly in the same shape now than I was 10 months ago. I've gained almost 14lbs and my activity has decreased due to a knee injury.
Knee is better. I'm currently running 5 mile short runs, then 7 mile longs. I'm nervous :(
Anyone else have "race training jitters"?
I'm considering doing my first half marathon this year! I can do 7 miles but I can't go any further (because I'm worn-the f**k-out).
I wish I had more time to work on my running but all my time goes to the child and work ughhhh.
