It's been rough. We haven't been fighting at all, but we're just really disconnected because our entire lives are focused on the LO's right now. It wasn't like this with our son, but we're finding it a lot harder to connect now that there are two of them. It doesn't help that we can't have sex for three more weeks and I'm BFing, so my nipples are so sensitive.. I feel like my breasts belong to the baby right now. Lol. I'm madly in love with my husband and we are usually SO in sync, so it kinda sucks having this little disconnect right now! What did you ladies do to feel more connected to your SO's during the newborn stage?

It's really hard in the newborn phase, you just kinda have to get through it. Once our kids were both weaned we now make it a point to do little weekend getaways with just us. It really helps escape the realities of my DHs 65 hr work weeks and our lives centering around our 2 kids.

I'm on the same boat as you. We never do anything together, and our connection is not so much there anymore. I'm no help cause I don't know what to do either. My man and I try and go for dinner once in a while, but it's not very romantic cause all I do is think about LO, and call my mom to see how he's doing lol.

No sec ever either seeing as how LO sleeps with us (only see each other once a week)

Like you, we didnt have a hard time after our first, but things were off after our second. It was a rough adjustment, but things improved around the 4 month period and we got back on track. Hang in there, this phase will be over faster than you can imagine.

Awh, I know. :( It actually makes me sad because DD is our last and I'm loving and cherishing every minute of this newborn stage! I just want to have it all, I guess! Lol.
