So DD and I have barely seen DH all week because he has been working. It has seriously been maybe an hour or less each night. Last night he wanted to go to the hockey game. I was slightly peeved because it was the first time all week we would get to see him more than an hour and he wanted to go out but whatever. If that is what he wanted then he should go. I can't make him stay home. He promised that DD and I would have his undivided attention today since it is his only day off. he works 6 days a week. He is now f**king in bed puking and sleeping because he is hungover. I am so f**king pissed. I understand he wanted to have fun but he ruined our only day with him by doing so. He didn't have to drink that much. I am angry and hurt. I feel like he doesn't want to spend any time with us. I have tried talking to him about it and he just gets mad and says he is busy with work and things will slow down eventually.

I'd be really upset too. I'm going through a similar situation. It sucks.

I'd be in the kitchen banging some pots together

It really does and I just told him I was upset he is hungover on what was suppose to be our day. He flipped out and started yelling about how I never want him to have any fun. No I just want my freaking husband present in our lives. He went 2 days this week without seeing DD at all. He doesn't even seem to care.

I am already cleaning lol. It is the only time I have to do it this week. He slammed the door shut.

that seems really counterproductive
the guy works 6 days a week to provide for you and your child. so, he went out. so, he's hung over.
that's no reason to be purposefully trying to piss him off and make him more miserable.
also, that's definitely one way he WON'T want to spend MORE time with you

I don't have a f**king choice but the clean today. I work full time too. I don't get to go out and have fun because I then have to come home and take care of our child and the house because he works 10 more hours a week than I do so he automatically thinks he doesn't have to do a damn thing. So yes, I am f**king pissed and he should be miserable. If he is that miserable then he can leave and take his stupid dog with him. Less people I have to clean up after.

i don't think you really want that. do you?
your best bet is to calm down and to talk it over another time. when you aren't both pissed off, and neither one of you is hung over.

full disclosure: i work full time and barely saw my bebes all week but i still went out Friday, and my SO totally understood. and he most certainly did NOT bang pots together while i was trying to sleep it off on Sat.

he doesn't do this every single week, does he? it's so important to take a night off every once in a while....

I dont think she was talking about the cleaning....I think she was referring to the other chicks comment about going to bang pots together. That would be an incredibly ridiculous thing to do and i cant even believe adults act like that to each other smh.

When DH does that I continually walk in and out of the bedroom, leave the door open so DD will crawl in there and play with loud toys, babble and scream. I'll make as much noise as possible, then when he gets up ignore him for a little while. Lol

Remember to talk VERY loud.
