Hello Kayley, I am having a boy and he has almost everything.. I work with really amazing people and I have my whole nursery done. I have about 10 outfits, but no diapers or whips yet. I havent had my work baby shower or my family baby shower. I would start to buy, I am hoping it will be less stress when the next couple of months get harder.

We have everything bought big and are slowly buying diapers, wipes, breastfeeding supplies etc. We have the crib up and room ready, the diaper bag is actually packed already with his/her Husker clothes to come home in and a few extra onsies. We have diapers ranging from Newborn to size 3 as well and lots of wipes. The carseat and stroller are ready to go as well as the pack n play is cleaned and in the closet ready to bring out when baby is here.

Hey Carlie, It is a lot of stress and you feel so worn out towards the end of the pregnancy but your doing really great! When you have that amazing baby you find things that will look good on him and be able to pick more things out that you think might fit him better... I waited to buy anything for my kids until my baby shower it might help if you walk around and make a list of what you need then when you have your showers you can cross of what you got and get what you need that will help reduce a lot of stress you know i hoped i helped you nd good luck with your new baby boyy

I don't have to buy anything actually.. besides diapers. I got pregnant again after about 4-5 months PP. I'm pregnant again with another boy so.. won't be needing anything but diapers. When I was pregnant with my first boy, I bought everything once I found out the sex. which was about 19 weeks.

I understand. I am so overwhelmed myself. This is my first child and being that it is a boy I have NO idea what to buy. I have been doing the same. I have bought diapers and wipes, but yesterday I went to target online and finally ordered the crib bedding. make sure to look online at the websites for your favorite store. I found that target online in better then store, more things to choose from and I came out allot cheaper doing that! Thank goodness I have a friend that is giving me her crib, dresser and changing table that helps so much!
Good Luck

Im due July 13th with my 2nd child another girl (my oldest is 11) so had to get everything. I now have all the big stuff except a stroller/carseat which my parents are getting for me. I also have alot of NB and 0-3 months clothes and I also went and bought the bedding set the day that I found out she was a girl. (I havent opened it yet just in case they are wrong). I have lots of brothers and sisters so they have also brought me some stuff. I could use another highchair because the one I have I bought at a garage sale about 2 years ago so I would have it when my nephews came over and its not in the best of shape but if I dont get one at my baby showers it will work. The only thing I need is diapers, wipes, bottles, 3-6 month clothes, a diaper bag, and some extra crib and bassinett sheets. Then stuff like diaper rash cream, baby bath, shampoo and lotions.

I started buying clothes the day that I found out it's a girl. We already have the crib, mattress, 3 fitted crib sheets, a mobile, a ton of clothes ranging from newborn to 6-9 months, tons of diapers ranging from newborn to 3, a breast pump, diaper bag, tons of wipes, bath wash and lotions. I have a lot of friends that have babies and they told me about tons of little stuff that I would have never thought to buy. I think at this point if you have a lot of stuff stocked up you're ok but if not, you still have plenty of time to buy everything that you need. :)

am due early July and I have alot of things from my First pregnancy that I can use I am just slowly building up my Diaper and Clothing supply since I had a girl the first round and I am now having a boy. With new born clothing they will fit in them all but 2-3 weeks. I would make sure you have enough of the older age clothing cause they will get dirty and quick. But I don't think its ever to early to slowly get everything you need. Less stress on you for the end of the pregnancy.

Hey there, I'm not sure if I'm donig this right first time on the site. But I don't think you are going overboard at all. I am concentrating on the big things first. Crib, high chair, car seat, swing, bouncer, changing table... heck I even have the pack and play up already. This is my first baby, but the way I see it is when I have the energy to get things ready I'm going to do it. I have the feeling once I get closer to the due date (and bigger and more uncomfortable) I won't feel like doing so much.
