lol im just saying i cann tell my son to not mess with something and he wont and he's 4 but all kids r different and raised different i suppose.

they were both playing with it earlier in the day which was okay cuz i was watching them (messy toy with all sorts of things like clay and things u mix with water and turn into something different) then i told them were dont playing with it and picked the mess up and put it were it goes no thinking she would go behind my back and get into it and hid in the bathroom and do what she did. lol im used to my son. He dosnt always listen either but he's not destructive and sneaky i guess and he does listen pretty damn good for a 4yr old IMO

Stupid? They're kids. She's not lighting the house on fire.

You have this glorified idea of kids because yours is sooooooo perfect. 5 is MUCH different than 4. Kids do stuff like this. You're awfully judgmental.

My three year old daughter sometimes does stuff like that...My six year old son, never...kids are different and some are more curious than others and like to see what they can make happen...I just try to direct it appropriately because being curious and creative are great qualities in an adult, just annoying in a child at times lol

I agree..My two kids are opposite in pretty much every way..My six year old son will almost always listen to me, he doesn't do dangerous things, and it's typically just a sweet child and always has been..My three year old daughter is hell on wheels in every single way, prettymuch every day lol... It's not a lack of parenting on my part, kids are just different

To me it sounds like she needs consistency. Kids listen, you just have to talk to them right. Every child is different.

lol yes stupid, drawing on the floor when you know your not suppose to IS stupid... well defiantly not a smart idea.
My kid is not an angel but he's more of a smart ass and bossy kid but he doesn't just ignore me I guess I wasn't use to that. He drew all over my laptop one time but he was 2!! He grew out of that stage real quick.

but I am thinking girl of terrors then boys at this age from wat im reading in the comments, cuz they are only 4mo apart. My DD is only 6mo but I'm thinking i'm in for it wen she gets a bit older -_-

You just called your 4 yr old a smartass? Yet a kid drawing on a floor is stupid?

Hate to break it to you but your "discipline" at 2 was not magical. Kids have no concept of it at 2. Just like your 4 yr old isn't the pinnacle of behavioral perfection.

It's not a boy or girl thing. It's a kid thing.

um yes, and she's not stupid!?!? what she did was not very smart tho for sure. i said nothing about discipline either just that he grew out of it I guess cuz he drew on more then just my lap top but he never drew on my things or the house sense past the age of 2, a 4 or 5 yr old should no better then to draw on the wall and floor etc. imo but i expect behavior like that from a 1 or 2 yr old, maybe even 3 lol

but I take it your 4 or 5 yr old does the same shit she does

and again my son's behavior is not perfect must I repeat!

You're in for a rude awakening. Your kid is 4.....he's going to be doing ridiculous crap.

No, not all the time. But most of the time. He has his days though, I'm not going to lie. But how she describe the child, it seems like the child is consistently like that. I'm just saying. I'm not agree with her, but I'm not disagreeing with her. I don't know the whole context of the situation because I'm not there.
