How do you deal with them?
I keep having them and I'm constantly feeling like there is one bubbling beneath the surface and I'm so sick of it.
How can I deal with this?
Also if you take medications for panic attacks/anxiety what kind do you take and how much?
When I'm having an attack I take Ativan (which is a benzo, same family as Xanax).
I have a lot of anxiety... I'm on zoloft, 50mg. I've been on it for 4 yrs and I went as high as 100mg, but I felt so numb on that much so the doctor dropped me down to 50mg and it helps, some.
I'm on Lexapro, and I have Xanax to take during anxiety attacks.
Mine was pretty bad, but I've worked hard to get more control over it. It takes more than just medication, I have to mentally force myself to do stuff even when my anxiety is telling me no.
I know you have to learn to take control of your anxiety. The thing that was triggering it is something that I've got almost all control over. But the problem is I won't even be thinking about what normally triggers it and it will still come.
I take Citalopram for depression and have read it can make anxiety worse.
My mom also gave me some Lorazapam to take when I start to have an attack. It does work, but I would like to stop them from even starting.
