You're pregnant. This is all moot. You gain weight you need to gain when you're pregnant.

I get not wanting to gain a lot but you're going to gain weight especially at the end because the baby is beefing up. I wouldn't restrict your calories. Just eat healthy and snack healthy. Keep doing the exercise that you are.

Yeah, but it doesn't sound like you're unhealthy. You're eating right and staying active, no reason to be worried. I understand though, I'd be freaking a little too, lol. You may unintentionally make you and your baby suffer if you don't eat enough calories though and that would make you feel worse. I don't think you're going over board on excercising but you need to make sure you're eating enough calories. Are you noticeably gaining all over your body, or just your belly?

Eat healthy and exercise moderately. If you over-push yourself, you could go into labor. Pregnancy is the only time in life when you are expected to gain weight. I'm pregnant with my second baby. I gained over 40 lbs with my first pregnancy. Hilariously, I lost it all within 9 months postpartum. I don't exercise a lot, but most of that weight you are gaining isn't being gained on you. It's 10lbs+ water and afterbirth and then a regular let's say 6 lb baby. You will lose about 20lbs right after giving birth. I'm 37+4 weeks pregnant, I've only gained 28 pounds so far. I hope to not gain more than 35 pounds this pregnancy.
If this is your first pregnancy, you're kinda screwed. They say you gain the most in your first pregnancy.... *shrug* I don't know. I know I gained a lot of weight with my son because I had to eat chicken alfredo pasta like all the time...
