Quoting Wiggity Wack:" I see your point, but at the same time there is a difference between not finishing a meal because you are full and stuffing yourself until your stomach ruptures for "fun"."

It's a sport to them. -shrug-

I also find a lot of sports, that people spend a lot of money on, to be quite stupid and a waste of money

Quoting kthx.:" Same could be said about anyone who doesn't finish their meal. While it's a nice gesture, I don't think ... [snip!] ... on TV, feel the need to help those starving kids, and then something else catches our attention and we instantly forget."

I get what you're saying but there is still a difference in being to full to finish and eating for fun.
And personally I try not to make a plate so full that I will have to throw the rest of it away. And if possible I put the rest away for later.
I hate throwing away/wasting food.
