I know you can't put a newborn in a jogging stroller. However, I found a carseat that comes with a jogging stroller as a travel system, and you can hook the carseat into the jogging stroller just likes a typical travel system. Can you still use it for jogging?

Yup, just make sure he's strapped in.

Why can't you put them in a jogging stroller if not jogging...no support right?

I'm like...little kid giddy over here right now. I was so dreading having to juggle our runs until the baby was old enough for a jogging stroller....like this, we could start running as a couple as soon as the doctor approves me to start in again. Ermahgerd! So excited.

Some jogging stroller (like BOB) make car seat adapters as well.

You can't put a newborn in a jogging stroller because they simply aren't made for newborns....they need to have control over their head first.

Yeah, that was one of the first ones I looked at..but it was nearly 400 for the stroller, and another 50ish for the adapter, and this seems to be a much more cost effective option.

They are pricey I see some on craigslist from time to time great condition and like half the price.

Makes sense. I wish I could tell that to the ghetto chicks around here pushing newbs in umbrella strollers. So ridiculous looking...and bad for the baby.

 the only thing on craigslist here, is stained up baby clothes from the 80s, and cribs that may or may not pass current safety standards. It's something that I avoid for baby stuff...it's all outdated, unsafe, or dirty here :(

God, RIGHT?! Ugh. I went to a fair and there were so many little teenagers with their 2 week old in the umbrella stroller, and they usually had their pack of smokes stashed right down there with em. Everything about it just....ugh!

I just bought that stroller (the green one) this weekend. I am planning on getting my workout on after the baby is born =) lol my husband already put it together (I think he got excited, lol) I also got mine for $189, not sure if it was only at the babies r us I went to or if it's everywhere.
