My little one is Lilyin Marie ;)
I named her after the lily flower. Lillian is also a family name, so is Marie.

My great-great grandmother, great grandmother, grandmother, DD and i all have Marie for a middle name. DH wanted a flower name (1st wanted rose and i said hell no) so we came up with Lily (after nixing Iris- sounds like an old lady imo). Lillian is for formality and "adult name". After picking Lily, i was telling family that we were pretty certain on it, and my uncle told me that my grandmother had asked him to name his daughter (if he ever had one- he ended up with a Mary Kathleen {Kathleen was her 1st name}) Lily. then after DD was born, i found out that Lily had been my great-great grandmother's name.

Lol!
Every time I try to bring a name up he always shoots it down, and says we agreed on a name! Which is Bs! I like the one and only name he likes but I don't know if its the "ONE".
Or he jokes how I like hippie names and if I had the chance I would name our baby tree.
Men!

isn't there a "classification" of names like faith, hope, joy, love, etc? blossom and raven remind me of the TV shows and Blossom on PowderPuff girls. lol. Aloura is cute and different! maybe i'll bounce that off DH. would it claash too much with Magnolia? Magnolia Aloura?

I LOVED Liberty Belle in Juno...DH nixed that one too...

Astrid is pretty, but kinda odd.

Astrid makes me think of * but i like the meaning. we already have a "queen" so why not a "beautiful"? haha. maybe its inspirational, i've seen another word used though, just not coming to me...
