Yesterday I dropped my non-verbal ASD kid off at daycare (2 days a week for my sanity, lol) and one of Brady's therapists arrived shortly after us. He has 6 therapists and recieves therapy 30 hours a week-that is why she was there. A sweet little boy walks up to the therapist and says "Did you bring some toys for Brady to play with....because I love playing with toys". I piped in and said "Why don't you ask Brady if he will play with you ,with the toys, and I bet Tina (the therapist ) will say yes". The boy replies, but Brady can't talk" so I said " Just because Brady can't talk doesn't mean he can't hear" and the boy looks up with real surprise and says "Wow he can hear, I didn't know that!!!" and then pauses and looks pensive and says "When will Brady talk" and thats when I said "Ask her" and pointed to the therapist and left-lol. These kids are so accepting and kind and very helpful and we are so lucky to have found a daycare so amazing-it makes what could be a hard life a little bit easier.

Quoting Meg Bloxham:" That's so sweet! Maybe Brady will have a new friend :D"Thanks-he does have a couple of friends. Once Brady smiled when a boy sat beside him and the boy replied "I made him happy, I think he likes me" with a beaming smile-so cute.
