Okay, so around 3 this morning, when DH and I went to bed... it may have been later idk... but I went to the bathroom as usual before bed, and when I sat down to pee... idk what happened, but my whole lower stomach started tensing up; like a huge muscle spasm. When I was done, I went to get up and about couldn't stand up straight. I came back in the living room, trying to kind of "walk it off" I guess you could say, and it started cramping up worse. DH asked for some milk, so I got it for him. I don't know if it was contractions; but I could barely even walk it was hurting so bad. Well, after that, I went and laid down for a little bit, to see if it would ease up. I laid down for about 10 minutes before it eased up any, but noticed I was having contractions. Not real bad, and very sparotic... And there was like a knot in the right side of my pelvis, like the baby was sitting there and not wanting to move. He was still kicking and stuff, but acted like he just didn't want to move. DH finally came to bed, cuddled up to me and started massaging my tummy where it was cramping and it eased up some more, but anytime he put pressure where the "knot" was, it hurt really bad. I'm just curious: what would you say that was? It kinda freaked me out...

Probably Braxton Hicks contractions. As long as they don't become regular, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Braxton Hicks.

My early ones felt like a huge charlie horse in my stomach.

It sounds like you had some BH contractions. The "knot" was probably the baby. When I would put pressure on my belly where the baby was, it would hurt. Like, my skin felt bruised or something.

Thanks ladies. That's what I was thinking. Oh boy did it hurt. I don't remember them hurting like that with my first, but he also wasn't as low as this boy is lol. Its still a little crampy but nothing like it was. Dh threatened to run me to tge ER and I told him no bc they weren't quite like real contractions, but today I'm keeping an eye on it, to make sure it don't get worse. Thanks again!

Most definitely... I don't want them to end up turning into real labor just yet. Sure, I'd love to meet my little man, just not right now. He needs to cook for a couple more months. Dh says July 4 lol. We'll see!!! Lol

Def BH, I have been having them off and on too, Like one of the other ladies said it hurts when I push on the baby too like a bruise, and I get charlie horses in my stomach as well as pulled muscles or ligaments from time to time they are no fun.

I've been having light ones on and off for weeks but what I had last night honestly scared me and my husband. I was in tears it was so bad. But least I know it was nothing to worry about. I did actually FEEL (with my hands) my uterus contracting, but it was just in that one spot where the baby's head was. Lol.

He could have been laying on a nerve, like I said just because my son Rayne was laying on a nerve in the front it caused my leg to swell and constrict my main artery. Oh the damage they can do while their in there lol.
